My mid-range Lumix camera started to report a SD card fault which could only be `fixed` by moving the settings wheel one click and then back. This was frustrating and becoming more frequent.
I was quoted a repair cost of £90+ to solder in a new SD socket but felt this was disproportionate to the cameras residual value. So this solution was suggested by American websites However, the only UK supplier I could locate was Eco-Eye.
It arrived very quickly. I put into the camera SD card slot and immediately ejected it (3 times). Whole process took a few seconds. Fault resolved immediately. Camera is back to full working order and I`m delighted.
For anyone experiencing similar problems, this is definitely worth a try before committing to expensive repairs.
