Battery storage for existing grid tied PV systems

So... It`s that time of year when we all converse at the eco builds show 2017

Wow, there is some great stuff here this year!

One item that did catch my eye was a hybrid battery storage system which works with existing grid tied PV systems called Power Vortex 3700TL

Anyone with a grid tied PV system can retro fit one in there property and charge the batteries thus using the power in reverse in the evenings.
