| Eco-eye is a trading name of Modern Moulds and Tools Ltd which is one company within the Modern Moulds Group ( also includes Whistle-Stop Plastics Ltd). |
| Group Director Trevor Pumphrey has over 30 years experience in plastic mould tooling and product design. He founded Modern Moulds and Tools Ltd in 1982 and quickly established the business as a major supplier of mould tooling to the OEM sector. 1996 saw the introduction of a moulding division, Whistle-stop Plastics Ltd. The Group now employs over 50 staff and continues to supply tooling and moulding to major OEM customers as well as produce a number of in-house products, including Eco-eye.
In 2007, as a result of his interest in energy conservation, Trevor embarked on a major new project and created the first version of Eco-eye. Since then Trevor and the team have continued to develop and enhance the range of Eco-eye products, initially working to DEFRA and OFGEM guidelines. Development has continued to push these boundaries to ensure the company is at the leading edge of technology and development.
